Accessibility Statement
DLUX Window Coverings (“DLUX,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) wants everyone who visits dluxwindowcoverings.com to be able to use it, including people with disabilities. This statement explains the standard we work toward, what we have done so far, and how to reach us if something on the site does not work for you.
1. Our Commitment
We want our website to be easy to perceive, navigate, and understand, whether you browse with a screen reader, a keyboard alone, screen magnification, voice control, or other assistive technology. We treat accessibility as an ongoing part of how we build and maintain the site, not a one-time project.
2. The Standard We Aim to Meet
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), these guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.
Conformance is an ongoing effort. Our website changes often, and we review new pages and content against these guidelines as they are added.
3. What We Have Done
3.1 Text and Images
Images that carry information have descriptive text alternatives, so screen reader users get the same information as sighted visitors. Links are written to describe where they lead rather than relying on phrases like “click here.”
3.2 Navigation and Structure
Pages use a logical heading structure and labeled regions so assistive technology can move through them easily. Menus and links can be reached and operated with a keyboard, and a skip link lets keyboard users jump straight to the main content.
3.3 Color and Readability
We check text and key interface elements against WCAG color contrast requirements so content stays readable for visitors with low vision or color vision differences.
3.4 Ongoing Review
In 2026 we reviewed and updated the site against WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA criteria. We continue to check new pages, fix issues as we find them, and welcome reports from visitors.
4. Third-Party Content
Some features on our site are provided by other companies, including embedded Google Maps, YouTube videos, our website chat and text messaging widget, and our cookie consent tool. We choose these providers with care, but we do not control the accessibility of their content.
If a third-party feature gets in your way, contact us using the details below and we will provide the same information or service another way.
5. Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Areas we know about include:
- Older blog articles, which we are reviewing and updating over time.
- Embedded YouTube videos, which may rely on automatically generated captions.
- Features provided by third parties, described in Section 4.
6. Need Help or Have Feedback?
If you have trouble using any part of this website, need information in a different format, or want to tell us about an accessibility barrier, please contact us using the details in Section 9. It helps to include the page address and a short description of the problem. We aim to respond within two business days.
7. Help by Phone or in Person
You don’t need to use the website to work with us. You can call or visit any of our four showrooms in Reno, Sparks, and Truckee, and our design consultants can help with products, pricing, and scheduling directly. Showroom addresses and phone numbers are on our Contact page.
8. Changes to This Statement
We review this statement as our website changes. When we update it, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above.
